The little town of Pleasantvila’s smallest cul-de-sac neighborhood, Hopper Avenue, is home to some of the most model house wives this side of the wailing river. Lonely and patient, these six women wait for their spouses to return from war, raising the kids and upholding their womanly duties by themselves. Mostly. Each week, the cul-de-sac throws a barbecue party: a responsibility bestowed only to the best host. Here, the group is allowed to take off their government mandated listening devices to grill their rations over the flames as they gossip about the neighborhood.

In this Dread adventure, play as six capable women confined by disciplined gender roles, government paranoia, and the threat of nuclear war drawing closer to home. As a group, avoid suspicion about harboring Lostcoz in our backyards or point your polished nails at your neighbors. Or, spark a revolution against the over-controlling government and make some kickin’ mystery meat hot dogs while you’re at it. Redefine the roles of women and war away from the battlefield in this tension-heavy, fictitious, role playing game.
